Hempel, Albert Ephraim

Hempel, Albert Ephraim a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born April 24, 1670. He studied at Leipsic and Wittenberg, was pastor at Nordhausen in 1692, licentiate of theology at Wittenberg in 1697, doctor of theology in 1711, and died March 25, 1722, leaving, De Spinis Coronae Christi (Leipsic, 1686): — De Theologiae Onomatologia: De τεκνοφιλίᾷ Divina ex Jeremiah 31:10 (Wittenberg, 1691): — De Chiliasmo Descripto et Rejecto (1692): — Consilium Dei circa Hominis Creationem ex Genesis 1:26 (1697): — De Resurrectione Spirituali.
