Heenir

Heenir in Norse mythology. When the Wanes and Asas, after a long war, agreed on an armistice, they exchanged hostages. The Asas got the Wane Niord, the Wanes the Asa Haenir, who was very beautiful, but had no mental gifts, and soon the Wanes ceased to respect him. Both hostages remain in the power of their enemies until the destruction of the world, when they will return to their kindred.
