Haspeya

Haspeya (חספיא), a river and tow of Palestine, near Lebanon, mentioned in the Talmud (Demay, 2); according to Schwarz (Palest. p. 65), identical with the modern Arabic Koroni, near the source of the Jordan; evidently the modern Hasbeia, an important place in that region (Robinson, Researches, new ed. 3, 380).
