Harioli

Harioli were magicians who are mentioned by ancient writers as waiting on the altars of the heathen to receive their inspiration from the fumes of the sacrifices. Harishandis, a sect composed of doms or sweepers in the western province of Hindustan, the members of which are very scarce, or, perhaps, entirely extinct.
