Hardy, Samuel

Hardy, Samuel an English divine, was born in 1720, and educated at Emanuel College, Cambridge, where he became fellow. He was for many years rector of Blakenham, Suffolk, and died in 1793. He published Nature and Ends of the Eucharist (London, 1784, 8vo): — Principal Prophecie of the O. and N. Test. compared and explained (London, 1770, 8vo): — Novum Test.
