Hagaba

Hag'aba (Heb. Chagaba', חֲגָבָא, a locust, a Chaldaizing form; Sept. Α᾿γαβά v.r. Α᾿γγαβά,Vulg. Flagaba, Ne 7:48) or HAGABAHE (Heb. Chagabah', חֲגָבָה id.; Sept. Α᾿γαβά,Vulg. Hagaba, Ezr 2:45), one of the Nethinim whose descendants returned from the captivity with Zerubbabel. B.C. ante 536. SEE AGABUS; SEE HAGAB.
