Gile, Samuel, D.D.

a Congregational minister, son of major Ezekiel Gile, was born at Plaistow, N.H., July 23, 1780. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1804; studied theology under Reverend Jonathan French; was ordained pastor of the Church in Milton, Massachusetts, February 18, 1807; and died in October 1826.
