Garnham, Robert Edward

Garnham, Robert Edward an English divine, was born at Bury St. Edmunds, May 1, 1753, and educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was ordained deacon March 3, 1776, and soon after entered into the curacies of Nowton and Great Welnatham. He was ordained priest, June 15, 1777; in 1793 became college preacher at Cambridge, and in November 1797, was advanced into the seniority, but resigned in 1789. He died June 24, 1802. His writings were numerous, but all anonymous.
