Gaab Johann Friedrich

Gaab Johann Friedrich, a German theologian, was born at Gdppingeme, in Wartemberg, October 10, 1761. In 1792 he became professor extraordinarius, in 1798 professor ordinarius of philosophy at Tubingen; in 1814, librarian of the university; in 1822, general superiatendent, in which office he remained till his death, March 2, 1832. He was a voluminous writer, chiefly in Biblical literature. Among his works are Observationes ad historiam Judaicam (Tub. 1787, 8vo): — Beitrage z.
