Fravitta

Fravitta (Phravittas, Flavita, or Flavianus), twenty-third bishop of Constantinople, A.D. 489, is said to have acquired his position by a remarkable fraud, having been originally a presbyter of the Church of St. Thecla, in the suburbs of that city. He died within four months, and the trick was exposed.
