Fisher, Jonathan

Fisher, Jonathan a Congregational minister, was born Oct. 7,1768, at New Braintree, Mass. He graduated at Harvard College, 1792, entered the ministry Oct. 1793, and was installed pastor at Blue Hill, Me., July 13,1796, where he labored until Oct. 24, 1837, and died Sept. 22, 1847. He published a volume of Miscellaneous Poems; Scripture Animals; and a sermon.-Sprague, Annals, ii, 344.
