Fish-pool

Fish-Pool (בּרֵכָה, berekah', a pool, as often elsewhere), a pond or reservoir in general; presumed by our translators at Song 7:4 to be intended for fish (q.v.), such as we know were anciently constructed for the purpose of pleasure angling. SEE FISHING (above).
