Fiac

Fiac an Irish saint, commemorated October 12, was bishop of Sleibhte (now Sletty), and is said to have been consecrated by St. Patrick. There are two hymns attributed to him; one (probably genuine) entitled The Praise of St. Patrick: — another (probably spuriotis), The Hymn on St. Brigida. See Smith, Dict. of Christ. Biog. s.v.
