Exocionites

Exocionites (Ε᾿ξωκιονίται), a name applied to the Arians (q.v.) of the 4th century, who, when expelled from Constantinople by Theodosius the Great, retired to a place outside the city. The name occurs in the records of Justinian, and frequently in the chronicle of Alexandria.
