Ethma

Eth'ma (Ε᾿θμά v.r. Νοομά,Vulg. Nobei), given (1 Esd. 9:35) as the name of the head of one of the families of Israelites, several of whose "sons" divorced their Gentile wives after the exile; apparently a corruption of NEBO SEE NEBO (q.v.) in the Hebrews list (Ezr 10:43).
