Ephod

E'phod (Hebrews Ephod', אֵפֹד, an ephod [q.v.]; Sept. Οὐφίδ v.r. Σουφί, Vulg. Ephod), the father of Hanniel, which latter, as head of the tribe of Manasseh, was one of the men appointed to assist Joshua and Eleazar in the apportionment of the land of Canaan (Nu 34:23). B.C. ante 1618.
