Eldad Had-dani

Eldad Had-Dani a famous Jewish traveller, flourished about 880-890. In his interesting but fabulous narrative, Sefer Eldad had-Dani, he pretends to tell of the remnants of. the ten tnribes, their laws, customs, and their condition. His narrative has been translated into Latin by Genebrard, into French by Carmoly, and into Judaeo-German by Men. bel-Salomo. Extracts are given by Bartolocci in Biblioth.
