Edwards, John

Edwards, John a Wesleyan Methodist preacher, was born at Bridford, Devonshire, in 1804. In 1830 he joined the Conference, and in 1832 was sent as a missionary to South Africa. For seven years he worked in the interior; in 1876 became a supernumerary; and died at Grahamstown, November 11, 1887. He wrote Reminiscences; or, Fifty Years of Mission Life.
