Dillingham, Francis

Dillingham, Francis an English divine, was born at Dean, Bedfordshire; became a fellow in Christ College, Cambridge; was an excellent linguist and subtle disputant; was chosen in 1607 one of the translators of the Bible, being on the 1 Chronicles-Eccles. committee; was richly beneficed at Wilden, Bedfordshire, and died there.
