Davies, Robert

Davies, Robert an English Congregational minister, was born at Carnarvon, Wales, September 9, 1815. He joined the Church at twelve years of age; after studying at the college at Blackburn, was ordained at Ripley, in Hrampshire; three or four years later removed to Bilston, near Wolverhampton; after twelve years resigned; became pastor at Merton, in Surrey, March 3, 1861; in 1872 resigned, and removed to Bath, where he died, June 1, 1879.
