Dangerfield, Joan

Dangerfield, Joan an English martyr, was the wife of the godly William Dangerfield, and on account of her faithfulness to her religion she was taken from her home, with a child only fourteen days old, and cast into prison and thieves and murderers. She remained there for some weeks, when she was taken to the place of execution and burned, with three other martyrs, in 1556. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 8:251.
