Dandini, Ottaviano

Dandini, Ottaviano an Italian painter of the middle of the 18th century, was the son of Pietro, by whom he was instructed. There are several of his works in the convents and churches at Florence, highly praised. There are some paintings, of sacred subjects by him, in the Church of San Lorenzo; also in the Church of Santa Maddalena, at Pescia. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.; Spooner, Biog.
