Dallas, James

Dallas, James a Scotch clergyman, was licensed to preach in 1786; missionary at Stornoway and schoolmaster there in 1787; schoolmaster at Kincardine in 1791; presented to the living at Contin in 1792; but. his ordination delayed for a year on false charges; ordained in August 1793, and died September 18, 1825, aged seventy-one years.
