Cynon

Cynon was a Welsh saint of the 6th century. He accompanied Cadfan to Bardsey, where he was made chancellor of the monastery. He is the reputed founder of the church of Tregynon, in Montgomeryshire, and the patron of Capel Cynon, subject to Llandyssilio Gogo, in Cardiganshire (Rees, Welsh Saints, page 215).
