Curtis, Grandison

Curtis, Grandison a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Ohio, July 22, 1818. He joined the Baptists in early life; removed to the Pacific coast in 1850; in 1862 joined the Methodist Episcopal Church South; soon after was licensed to preach, and continued as a local preacher until 1871, when he entered the Columbia Conference, wherein he labored till his death, which occurred near La Grande, Union County, Oregon, January 21, 1873.
