Cunningham, Alexander

Cunningham, Alexander a Presbyterian minister, was born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, January 21, 1815. He graduated at Washington College in 1840; studied theology at the Western Theological Seminary; was licensed by the Presbytery of Erie, September 4, 1842; ordained by the same, October 5, 1843, and installed pastor of the churches of Gravel Run and Washington. He was released from this charge in 1851, and dismissed to the Presbytery of Allegheny. He died at Whitestown, September 5, 1874. See Hist. of the Presbytery of Erie.
