Cummins, Alexander

Cummins, Alexander a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Albemarle County, Virginia, September 3, 1787. He embraced religion in his twentieth year, and in 1809 entered the Western Conference. With the exception of one year's intermission as supernumerary he labored zealously until early in 1823, when he became superannuated. He died September 27 of that year.
