Cummings, Seneca

Cummings, Seneca a Presbyterian minister, was born at Antrim, N.H., May 16, 1817. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1844, began his theological studies at Lane Seminary the same year, and completed them at Union Seminary in 1847; was ordained a Congregational minister, September 30, the same year; became a missionary to Foo-Chow; China, in 1848; returned to the United States in 1856, and died at New Ipswich, N.H., August 12 of that year.
