Crowell, Churchwell Anderson

Crowell, Churchwell Anderson a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Mecklenburg County, N.C., September 15, 1806. He was converted in 1825; licensed to exhort in 1826; to preach in 1828; in 1829 united with the South Carolina Conference; was transferred to the Georgia Conference in 1850, and in 1867 to the South Georgia Conference, laboring faithfully until his death, January 10, 1872.
