Cross, Memorial

Cross, Memorial, was a beautiful structure of stone, erected near Durham, in memory of the victory of the Red Hills, and called Neville's Cross, while an humbler crucifix of wood marks the spot on which the monks had stood, praying for the rout of the Scots.
