Coustant, Pierre a learned French Benedictine of the order of St. Maur, was born at Compiegne, April 30, 1654, and died at Paris, October 18, 1721, while dean of the abbey of St. Germain-des-Pres, leaving several editions of the works of Church fathers and others, for which see Chalmers, Biog.
