Cornon, Jean

Cornon, Jean a French martyr, was a husbandman of Mascon, and unlettered, but one to whom God gave such wisdom that his judges were amazed, when he was condemned by their sentence to be burned for listening to the reading of the Scripture, in 1535. See Fox, Acts and Monuments, 4:397.
