Coras (Lat Corasius), Jacques De

Coras (Lat. Corasius), Jacques De a French Protestant theologian and poet, was born at Toulouse in 1630. He was a pastor in Guienne, and fulfilled several other religious functions. He died in 1677, leaving several poems on Old-Test, characters, for which see Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
