Cooper, James (1)

a Scotch clergyman, was licensed to preach in 1663; admitted to the living at Wigton before 1664; transferred to Mochrum in 1667. and thence to Humble in 1681; deprived in 1695 for non-jurancy; instituted to the curacy of Holy Island the same year, and died in 1701.
