Cooper, Ebenezer

Cooper, Ebenezer a Presbyterian minister, was born in South Carolina in 1795. After receiving a careful academical education, he entered the South Carolina College; studied theology in the seminary of the Reformed Presbyterian Church at Philadelphia; was licensed to preach by the Philadelphia Presbytery in 1827, and was pastor, for several years, of Hephzibah Church, in West Tennessee. He died at Cedarville, Ohio, November 13, 1858. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1860, page 170.
