Cooke, James

Cooke, James an English Wesleyan minister, was born at Gloucester in 1800. He was early converted, entered the ministry in 1822, and died January 22, 1854. Kind and sympathetic, constant as a friend, his views of Christianity were lofty and comprehensive, his perceptions quick, and his judgments discriminating.
