Constantinus Meliteniota

Constantinus Meliteniota a Greek theologian, lived about 1276. A partisan of the union of the Greek and Latin churches, he was exiled to Bithynia, where he died. He wrote the two following treatises: De Ecclesiastica Unione Latinorum et Graecorum: De Processione Spiritus Sancti. These were published, with a Latin translation, in the Graecia Orthodoxa of Leo Allatius. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
