Condy, Jeremy

Condy, Jeremy a Baptist minister, graduated at Harvard College in 1726. After preaching a few years he went to England, and remained till 1738, when he came back at the call of the First Baptist Church in Boston. He was an Arminian, and this caused his removal from the pastorate. He died in 1768, leaving two Sermons. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer. Pulpit, 6:37.
