Comfort, David

Comfort, David a Presbyterian minister, a graduate of Princeton, was licensed to preach by the Presbytery of New Brunswick in 1798, and soon after became pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Kingston, N.J., where he labored during a long life. From 1816 till his death, in 1853, he was a trustee of Princeton College. Mr. Comfort was honored and beloved by all. See Alexander, Princeton College in the 18th Century.
