Combonus, Hieronymus

Combonus, Hieronymus an Italian Hebraist, lived in the early part of the 17th century. He belonged to the order of Observantists, and was professor of Hebrew at Bergamo. He wrote, Compendium in quo Quidquid ad Hebraicam Linguam Legendans Pertinet Continetur (Bergamo, 1616). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
