Colquhoun, James

Colquhoun, James a Scotch clergyman, took his degree at Glasgow University in 1635; was called to the living at Whithorn in 1664; transferred to Penningham in 1665. Having persecuted some of his parishioners, he was ousted by them in 1689, when he went to Ireland, got a benefice there, and died at an advanced age. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 1:743, 748.
