Cocca

Cocca (Coga, Choca, or Cuach), of Cill-Choca, a female Irish saint, commemorated January 8 and June 6, is supposed to be the same as elsewhere called Ercuat (q.v.) or Erguat, the cook and embroideress or robemaker of St. Columba, Cocca being a form of "Coqua," a cook (Todd and Reeves, Mart. Doneg. page 379; O'Hanlon, Irish Saints, 1:136.
