Coates, Richard

Coates, Richard an English Methodist preacher, began to. travel in connection with the Wesleyan Conference in 1764, being appointed to the Staffordshire Circuit. The severity of the winter and his excessive labors brought on a disorder of which he died, at Wednesbury, Staffordshire, in 1765, aged twenty-eight.
