Clerk, John (3), a Scotch clergyman, took his degree at the University of St. Andrews in 1586; was appointed to the living at Forteviot in 1591; transferred to Monzic about 1592, and to Auchterarder in 1593, where he continued in 1599. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticance, 2:640, 746, 793.
