Clerc, Sebastien Le

Clerc, Sebastien Le, an eminent French designer and engraver, was born at, Metz, in Lorraine in 1637. The following are his best works: The Call cf Abraham; The Prophet Elijah Sleeping ; The Holy Family; The Stoning of Stephen ; St. John in the Wilderness; The Annunciation ; The Penitence of the Ninevites; The Adoration of the Magi.
