Clarke, James Freeman, D.D.

a Unitarian minister, was born at Hanover, N.H., April 4, 1810. He graduated from Harvard College in 1829, and from Cambridge Divinity School in 1833. Thenceforth he was pastor until his death, June 8, 1888. He was the author of many works, among which are, Orthodoxy: its Truths and its Errors (1866): — Ten Great Religions (1870, 2 volumes): — Manual of Unitarian Belief (1884).
