Chodowiecki, Daniel Nicolas

Chodowiecki, Daniel Nicolas an eminent Prussian designer and engraver, of Polish origin, was born at Dantzic, October 16, 1726. He produced a series of twelve plates of The Passion of Christ, which gained him a great reputation.
