Cheyne, John

Cheyne, John, a Scotch clergyman, was admitted to the living at Kinkell prior to November, 1633; continued in June, 1643; and transferred to Kintore. He was. taken -prisoner with -fur. other ministers, outstanders against the Covenant, in 1640; lodged the marquis of Montrose in his house on March 12, 1645. There is no further record of him.
