Charteris, Henry, Am

Charteris, Henry, A.M., a Scotch clergyman, was principal of Edinburgh University; admitted to the living at North Leith in April, 1620; and promoted to the professorship of divinity in Edinburgh University in May, 1627. There is no further record of him. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticance, i, 93.
