Charmaig

Charmaig, commemorated March 16 (cir. A.D. 640). In the west of Scotland a saint of this name is found in the church dedications. He is identified with St. Abban ilac Ua-Corbmaic, of Magh-Ar-naidhe in Ui-Ceinnsealaigh, in Leinster, who is mentioned in St. AEngus's Litany. See Mart. Doneg. by Todd and Reeves, p. 77; Forbes, Kal.
